we have the opportunity to see the APO-Extender-R 1.4x conversion to Nikon mount

The mount looks like any other Leica-R lens bayonet.
Unscrew

















First, unscrew the six screws from the mount.

After removing it's three black screws, Eric had to
bend the baffle slightly  to remove it.

There is no small bearing ball to worry about

Now install the new Leitax bayonet.

And screw it, remember to tight the screws in cross pattern one bit each time.

This is how it looks on the Nikon camera, anyway Eric recommends to mount the Extender on the lens first.
