Remove the small bearing ball to keep it in secure place, the best way to do it is to use the screwdriver point with some grease on it.

And now remove the two clear metal cams.

In general, if you have a ROM model, there is no need to remove anything. But sometimes a ROM lens can have a slopped cam like the one in the picture that must be removed.

Now, fill the ball bearing hole with some grease and place the ball on it.

Time to install the new Leitax bayonet.

Remember to screw it in a cross pattern and tighten the screws little by little one after another.
