This is the Summicron 50/2 1-cam lens

Here you can see that there is one cam only.

First, we have to unscrew the black shroud, I usually  turn the lens upside down when the  screw is going to fall.

I use the plastic tool to lift the black shroud, so there is no risk to touch the glass with the  fingers..

Now we can remove it.

Remove the screws of the Leica-R mount.


And lift it, pay attention where the small bearing ball is, many times stays glued to the mount , like in this picture.
It is best to put a bit of grease in the hole where the small ball goes. These are old lenses and  there is little original grease remaining.
Now put the ball in place.
And we can install the special Leitax mount for 1-cam lenses.

The red dot goes near the center of the lens scale.

Use the same screws of the Leica mount.
Ready, now we can use Leica 1-cam lenses on our reflex camera.
