With this new Leitax mount, you can use a Leica-R lens on Nikon or Canon cameras with an easy add-on mount operation.. |
We have a Leica-R lens that was converted to Nikon with the Leitax mount. |
Here you can see the Leitax Leica-Nikon mount installed on the lens. |
We have to remove the screws, I'd recommend to leave the one at the bottom of the lens, to avoid having to realign the mount if it moves accidentally. |
Now put the ring on top of the Leitax mount for Nikon. |
And use the provided longer screws to attach the ring. This ring has the extra four holes that will allow to install it on the 28-90 and 21-35 Leica-R lenses ( ask for special screws for these two lenses) Also ask for special screws for: - Summilux 50/1.4 E60 - Summilux 35/1.4 - Apo-Elmarit 180/2.8 - Vario-APO-Elmarit 70-180/2.8 - Apo-Telyt-R Focus-Modules |
Now we can put the Leitax mount on top of the ring. |
To have the lens in upright position, the two slots have to coincide. |
And attach the Leitax mount using the provided smaller six screws.
Now we can use this lens on a Canon camera.
