First, unscrew and remove the original bayonet. This lens has no space to use a spring to keep that aperture lever to the left, to make the iris stay at the desired aperture. |

John made a special blocking spacer. |

That can be screwed and keeps the aperture lever to the left side. Also should be possible to make a blocking piece of plastic that will stay in place itself. |

Now you can screw the Leitax mount with the provided screws for Nikon. The Pentax version uses the original screws. |
