Here you can see the ROM contacts. |

First, unscrew the black shroud screws, please make sure you don't unscrew the ROM strip. |
|
Now remove the shroud, first you will need to focus the lens to the closer distance, to move the lens barrel inside. |
|
And now the bayonet screws. |
|
You can lift it now. |
|
The ROM strip and chip remain at the bayonet. |
|
Here you can see the chip. |
|
Put some grease on the bearing ball. |
|
Install the Leica-Pentax or the Leica-Nikon bayonet, the red dot in front the scale center for Pentax, and slightly to the right for Nikon. Remember to screw in cross pattern and to tight the screws progressively |

Now it is possible to use the Summilux 80/1.4 on Pentax and Nikon-F cameras. | |
