The bayonet side..... as you can see, it is a 3-cams lens. |

Unscrew the bayonet and lift it together with the black shroud. |

As you can see, the small ball can remain sticked to the bayonet. NEW! With the new Leitax mount model, you can reuse the black tube to avoid flares, take a look here. |

We have to remove the two clear slopped shaped cams. |
|
These are the removed cams. |

Now, I use to put a bit of grease in the hole where the small ball goes. |

Now we can screw the Leitax bayonet, the red dot goes near to the scale center. |
|
Ready, this excellent Leica lens can be used now on our film or digital reflex camera. |
